Welcome Sewing Enthusiasts! The American Sewing Guild (ASG) is a national, non profit organization with more than 19,280+ members in 134 chapters nationwide.

The Tucson Chapter averages an enrollment of 300+ members who sew at all levels of expertise. Periodic events, seminars and classes keep participants current on sewing industry trends and accommodate both basic and advanced educational interests. Two popular events occur annually; a summer Sewing Retreat and Holiday Luncheon.

Several informal Neighborhood Groups (NG) meet monthly to share ideas and enjoy the company of others who sew. Anyone is welcome to visit any NG meetings before joining ASG.

You may join ASG online and designate Tucson as your chapter. As a Chapter member, you will enjoy access to many retailer discounts, low cost entry into sponsored programs, free attendance to any Neighborhood Group meeting, and our quarterly newsletter.

Outstanding Chapter Newsletter Award 2011

In August 2011, the Tucson Chapter competed for a premier award offered at National ASG level for best Chapter Newsletter. Tucson tied with the Atlanta, GA resulting in both Chapters receiving this prestigious recognition!
