3rdAnnual Chemo Cap Cutting & Sew-A-Thon Day
Location:
Beacon Group Main Office
308 W Glenn St. Tucson AZ
Chemo Caps are made for cancer patients who have lost their hair from chemotherapy. One of the side effects of this life saving treatment is hair loss which can be devastating. Chemo caps can give a woman a little bit of brightness and warmth. Tucson has a need for more than 1000 caps a year.
Fabric and patterns are provided. Bring sewing machines and basic sewing supplies or cutting tools and mats. There is a new pattern this year which uses 100% cotton fat quarters. Donations of fat quarters are appreciated. Lunch is provided.
