Location: San Pedro Valley Methodist Church; 636 S Hwy 80, Benson, 85602 (slightly south of main town of Benson)

Meeting Schedules
Aug 21 - Fabric manipulation techniques for Aug & Sep. Learn ways to texturize fabrics for embellishment. Create fabric squares for testing. Squares can be incorporated into any project. See vest sample in progress. Supply list below.

Sep 18 - Same as above.
Oct 16 - Make a scarf from threads & yarns, using water soluble stabilizer. Supply list pending.
Programs / Projects
New group just started in March 2008. Show and share projects encouraged at every meeting.
Supply Lists
BSS – stands for “basic sewing supplies.” When listed, BSS includes machines, cords, extension cords, basic threads, scissors & notions required for projects.

For Aug 21 & Sep 18 Classes - Bring BSS and the following; 3-4 yards of solid cotton fabric, 1 & 1/2 yards of fabric for lining, matching regular sewing thread, machine embroidery thread (either matching or contrasting), marking pen (either air or water dissolving).
