Meet: First Monday of the month. Beginning Feb 1, 2010, meeting times will be expanded to a 4-hour sessions through the end of the year: 12 noon – 4:00 pm.

For 2010: the group will concentrate on altering garments – both ready-to-wear (RTW) and personally constructed from patterns.

Agenda Breakdown:
12:00 – 1:30 pm: Intro, new members welcome, upcoming events. Garments: RTW/Constructed - individual help from the group on patterns, construction, fit, fabric, etc. Discussion and technique demonstrations as required for chosen, particular garments.
1:30-3:30 pm: Leader will do a lecture/demo on specific topics listed for each month. Sewing machine demonstrations will be shown with related samples, tips and information.
3:30 – 4:00 pm: Show and Share.

Location: 490 W. Magee Rd., Rural/Metro Fire Station Admin. Bldg, Tucson, 85704 (half block west of Oracle Rd.)

Supply Lists

BSS – stands for “basic sewing supplies.” When listed, BSS includes machines, cords, extension cords, basic threads, pins, scissors & notions required for projects.
